The module for comparing multiple tidal window advices for one tidal window request.

Process

Usually a tidal window request will be calculated multiple times with different calculation settings, like slow, average and fast speedregimes. The Compare advices module will show multiple tidal window advices for a single requests in one time / location diagram. This information will help in determining the appropriate advice for a tidal window request.

Details

  • The difference in safety for various tidal window advices is represented by shades of blue. When a time / location point is dark blue, it means it is safe in all advices. When the blue turns lighter, the point will not be safe in all advices.
  • When ship routes are possible, the route lines (light blue, green and red) will be drawn within the diagram for each tidal window advice. Clicking a line displays shows its corresponding tidal window advice.
  • Clicking a row in the table overview opens the corresponding tidal window advice for more information.
