Single advice

Process

After successfully calculating tidal window requests, the Single advice module will present all result information for a calculation in a single advice overview. Advices can directly be exported to a PDF report.

Details

• The module offers two different PDF reports: a summary and a full report. Clicking the smaller PDF logo will create the newly introduced summary report, and the larger icon will generate a full report.
• Declined advices are left out by default. To view declined advices (only applicable for providers), the default filter should be cleared.
• The Time / location diagram displays safe time / locations as blue and unsafe time / locations as white. The light blue line represents the opening of the tidal window, the green line shows the ideal route and the red line displays the closing of the tidal window.
• By default, two probabilities are calculated and shown in one Time / location diagram overlaying the results. A dark blue time / location point indicates complete safety for both probabilities, a light blue point indicates unsafety for one of the probabilities and a white point can be regarded as completely unsafe.
• The cross current exclusion (red line) in the Time / location diagram represents the cross current exclusion at the time of calculating the request.
• The Tide, Cross current, Swell and Wave height diagrams display the current prediction data (green line) as well as the prediction data used in the calculation of the advice (purple line). The prediction data shown is based on the 0-kilometer point in the channel.
• The Bottom touch probability and Significant roll and pitch angles diagrams are drawn based on the Advice route of the advice.
• Click within a diagram to obtain more information about the specific data point.
• Clicking the PDF logo in the top right corner exports the current data in the advice to a PDF report in a new browser window. Therefor PDF reports for the same advice, but created at different results may vary in prediction data.
