Channel bottom elevations

Process

Sometimes there will be elevations in the channel bottom, that need to be entered into the system because of their negative influence on channel depth. The Channel bottom elevations module offers the possibility to add elevations for a specific channel segment and period.

Details

• The To date time field can be left empty in case there is no information on when the elevation will be cleared.
• The Channel layout module displays the course of a channel to its berth, including any elevations for a specific period.
• To use elevations in a calculation, the Use channel bottom elevations has to be ticked when starting a new calculation.
• If channel bottom elevations are used within a calculation, the diagrams in the Single advice module will automatically display any elevations.
