The Settings module mainly provides information on the different settings used throughout the application. With the Channel bottom elevations module channel bottom elevations can be managed.
The settings module provides background information on the PROTIDE calculation data, MATROOS settings, ship data, channel information and calculation settings.
Calculation dataProvides insight in the prediction data structure and classification. Each data source consists of a channel position, classification, data unit and standard deviation.
MATROOSProvides insight in the integration of the MATROOS prediction databases. At set times the different MATROOS databases are polled automatically for new prediction data for all shown data retrieval settings. The MATROOS data can also be accessed manually with the MATROOS data module.
Ship informationProvides information about the available ship types and shows the history of all ships entered into PROTIDE.
Channel informationProvides insight in the way the channels, segments and kilometer positions are modelled and how the speedregimes are set up. The Channel bottom elevations module provides the possibility to manage channel bottom elevations.
Calculation settingsProvides insight in the selected calculation parameters for specific channel segments and ship drafts.
